Mark Jones Dental Surgery was established in Kerikeri in 1986 and moved to its current address in 1991.
Our modern ground floor premises offer easy access including wheelchairs and has plenty of off street parking.
We aim to provide you with the highest quality of care and protection. Mark Jones Dental Surgery is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and Dental Protection Ltd. We have passed the N.Z. Dental Council Audit on practice management, sterilisation and cross infection control; and all staff hold current certificates in Resuscitation and Emergency care.
Dr Mark Jones – Dentist
Mark graduated from Otago University in 1979. Having worked as a Dental House Surgeon at Dunedin Hospital, then in worked private practice in England for several years before returning home and working in private practice in Auckland.
Mark and his family moved to Kerikeri to take over the dental practice formerly owned by Gordon Bell and have enjoyed the Northland life style ever since.
Raewyn, Marks wife, works along side her husband as the surgery’s practice manager and administrator.
Raewyn also occasionally covers the receptionist when required.
Linda brings a lifetime of dental surgery experience to us, having worked in several dental practices in Northland.
We are pleased to retain her services as receptionist and chair side assistant.
Trish joined us our Dental Surgery replacing Chellie Conaghan as our assistant and receptionist several years ago.
Trish has worked in the dental industry in Northland for over 30 years and she brings experience and passion as a dental assistant to the practice.
Renene assists us in reception and instrument sterilisation.
She has a nursing background and has worked in Africa, the UK, and both the north and south islands of NZ.
She has moved to the Bay of Islands to enjoy. The relaxed lifestyle.
Julie lived and trained as a dental hygienist in England, then moved to NZ almost 20 years ago.
She works with us 2 days per week and also in Whangarei.
